Why Breathe?
Concious Connected Breathwork is a healing modality. It is somatically led, in other words, your breath/body is leading you rather than your mind. Your breath is your blueprint and is able to access parts of your psyche which talk therapy can not always achieve, perhaps you were too little to even have the vocabularly to describe and understand how you felt. It bridges the gap between the concious and unconscious mind.
Imagine from birth until present, all the times where you have held your breath with out realizing, in shock, fear, sadness, anger, frustatration, guilt, shame etc. and all those emotions and feelings got buried and stored away in your subconsious mind and memory cells of your body.
Conscious Connected Breathing which is a connected diaphragmatic breathing technique is an effective method to explore, heal and integrate the complex aspects of ourselves with theraputic benefits. It facilitates physical, mental, emotional and spiritual wellbeing.
It's essential to practice Conscious Connected Breathwork under the guidance of a trained facilitator, especially when first starting, as the practice can sometimes bring up intense emotions or physical sensations. Facilitators provide support and guidance to ensure a safe and beneficial experience for participants.
